Frame T

It occured to me that Frame T is small enough to build on a fold-up camping table, and that I could do that whilst also building Frame C to save a bit of time. Although this is a 'full' frame (all of the solid wood parts are mounted on plywood), I decided to build it without attaching the main plywood part. This was a recommendation that I read somewhere (A Setka A blog, possibly?) and the reason for it is that the stringers terminate on this frame, set in to the solid wood parts but with the playwood covering up the stringer end-grain. Because my garage is only slightly larger than the boat I won't have much space for manipulating the stringers at the front of the boat so having them extend beyone the stern and then be able to cut them flush before attaching the final transom plywood part is important. Hopefully that'll make sense in future blog posts.
I still used the plywood to help with the fit of the douglas fir parts but put a layer of pallet-wrap on it to prevent any accidential adhesion.
